Question: What types of Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles are there?
Answer: Wheelchair accessible vehicles come in a variety of types, including vans and cars. The most common type of wheelchair accessible vehicles have either side or rear entry access and features such as power lifts and ramps, adjustable seating, electronic door openers, tie-downs for securement, and hand controls for driving. Other options include buses and specialty vehicles for commercial use that can transport multiple disabled passengers at once.
